Before you apply the Wannaskin on your mobile device, it is important to clean the surface of the device with a lint-free cloth to ensure proper bonding between the skin and the device. Any dirt, oil, fingerprint or residue beneth the skin can result in the skin loosening over time.
Step 1: Remove any excess vinyl cutouts for the speakers, control buttons, and the screen area. Inspect your skin carefully so you know which piece goes where.
Step 2: Carefully peel the skin off the backing paper and be sure not to stretch any part of it. Position the skin over the device and ensure any windows on the skin are aligned with the appropriate areas on the device. A good starting point is where a few buttons are close together. Firmly press the skin from the middle out towards the edges and push any air bubbles out from under the skin on your mobile phone.
Step 3: Repeat step 1 and 2 for all parts of the skin.
You may not be able to reapply if the skin is torn or stretched. Do not use water or liquid directly on the device itself. Don not use ammonia or solvent based cleaners on the skin as they may deteriorate the high gloss protective coating.
